"Extremely Disappointing. I had coverage with Geico for 5+ years, never had an issue, but after 2 premium changes in the last 12 months (6 month policy x2) I felt I was probably overpaying. Got a great quote from State Farm and thought I would give them a try and bundled Auto + Renters Insurance. Just moved and my new apartment complex requires that they are listed as an interested party to be notified of any policy changes, which I was notified of on 7/26. I emailed Arlo Friday 7/26 at 3:52pm and received a reply that they would assist at 4:04pm. This was the last time anyone followed up with me. In his email he cc’d Nicholas. Monday 7/29 I waited until end of day and emailed back asking for an update. I received an out of office from Arlo, nothing from Nicholas still. Tuesday 7/30 I logged into my account and checked my proof of coverage and it still had not been updated, but after some digging I finally figured out how to submit the update to the interested party online. I called at 10:50 and spoke with Julie and explained that according to the letter from my complex I had until Friday to update this information or they would add their own insurance policy through Assurant and bill me. She confirmed that she received the request and stated she would work on it right away and call me back if there was any issues. She also confirmed I would receive an email once this was completed. Wed 7/31, 11:37 AM I logged into my account … still not updated. I called and left a message asking for an update (this voicemail was never returned). At lunch time I logged in again and submitted an email through the “contact my agent” option online. … still no response. Thursday 8/1, 10:00 AM I tried to call State Farm directly, unfortunately it re-routed my call to my local agent’s office. I spoke with Les, after explaining my frustration he tried to look into the issue and confirmed that the request was finally completed sometime Wed 7/31 but due to the “system it was still pending an update and so the proof of coverage would not be reflected online” I explained I need to email proof to my apartment complex. He said that he could circumvent this to give him an hour and he would email me. He was not able to address why 1. No one returned the voicemail 2. No one ever emailed me back from Monday. 3. Why no one every responded to the complaint I submitted through the website on Wednesday. I asked how I could file a complaint with State Farm and he said there was not an option but I could try to email Arlo. I said I did on Monday and he insisted he has been busy with Client meetings all week. Its now 11:30 about an hour and 20 min after I last spoke with Les … and you guessed it no email. Not even I big deal but when I purchased renters insurance, I got a call from Arlo’s office 7/17 because they needed to confirm why my physical address was different from my mailing. I said because I was moving 7/24 (the date my policy coverage was set to begin) The woman said she would set a reminder to update my address for me on 7/24, when I logged in Monday 7/29 to try and see if my policy was updated …. My address was still my old apartment. **** Update**** Called State Farm and they assisted me with changing my State Farm Agent. I chose Mark Forgas Jr. located in Clearwater. Spoke with Tiffany and had proof of coverage with my interested party updated emailed to me within 30 min. If you are having issues with this office I strongly recommend switching, it was a completely opposite experience."

"I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Mia at Arlo Henderson's office! I was shopping for auto insurance through the typical do-it-yourself quotes online and comparing coverages and settled on a policy with State Farm. Arlo's office was selected as the default most likely due to the proximity of my address in Westchase. A few days had passed since I purchased the policy and since I had never been a State Farm customer before, I had some questions and called Arlo's office. Mia answered on the second ring (no keypad option games, no outsourcing to another country) and she was able to access my policy and answer my questions. She had also given me some additional information about some alternative coverages that State Farm offers and made complete sense for our family. She spent about an hour with me, taking time out of anything else she had going on and not rushing me off the phone. I called back the next day and had the same experience. I got through to Mia immediately upon calling and added another policy to my account, as well as transferred my homeowner's policy to their office. This type of customer service is getting very difficult to find these days. Mia was fantastic, knowledgeable and does what is best for her customers."
